Casa memorială „Nicolae Labiș”

La scurt timp de la moartea poetului, diverşi scriitori, dar şi necunoscuţi s-au perindat pe la casa familiei Labiş din Mălini. Acolo locuiau încă Eugen şi Ana-Profira, părinţii lui Nicolae. Din păcate, multe dintre manuscrisele originale au dispărut în acea perioadă. "În pod au fost foarte multe lucruri, dar au dispărut. Tata a donat casa, care a devenit muzeu, iar noi avem dreptul să stăm într-o cameră. I-am luat pe părinţi la Bucureşti, pentru că veneau mulţi scriitori tineri care îl cunoscuseră pe fratele meu. Mama toată ziua făcea de mâncare şi cumpăra băutură", povesteşte Margareta Labiş.

Casa în care a locuit poetul Nicolae Labiș a fost construită de învățătorii Eugen și Profira Labiș în anul 1954 și se află în centrul satului Mălini. Cele cinci încăperi ale locuinței sunt încărcate cu o multitudine de conotații evocatoare (cărți, caiete, rechizite școlare, piese vestimentare, un clopoțel cu “sunet argintiu“, o galenă cu care poetul păstra contactul cu zvonurile lumii, documente, fotografii, afișe etc.), climatul de viaţă  şi creaţie al poetului de la Mălini, sugerându-se  coordonatele esenţiale ale operei sale  şi aportul extraordinar al acesteia la evoluţia  liricii româneşti contemporane.

„Nicolae Labiș” Memorial House

Nicolae Labis Memorial House was opened in 1975 and functions in the building located right in the center of Mălini village, where the poet Nicolae Labiș lived.

"There was a linden tree, next to a huge cherry-tree with big cherries and another one with bitter cherries. There were some hanging plants, all the porch was adorned with plants and there were a lot of flowers. At that time these steps were not there. In front of the house there was the garden with flowers. I had a fountain with one wheel. Inside the garden behind the house, on the hill, there was the maple in which my brother created a library. "says Margareta Labiş.

Shortly after the poet's death, various writers, but also strangers have visited the family house of Nicolae Labiş from Malini. Nicoale Labiș’ parents, Eugen and Ana-Profira, were still living,. Unfortunately, many of the original manuscripts disappeared in that period of time. "Inside the loft there were many things, but they have disappeared. My father donated the house, which became a museum, and we have the right to live in a room. We took the parents to Bucharest, because many young writers which had known my brother kept coming. My mother was cooking and buying drinks all day long." related Margareta Labiş.

The house where the poet Nicolae Labiș lived, was built by teachers Eugen and Profira Labiş in 1954 and it is located in the center of Mălini village. The five rooms of the house are loaded with a wealth of evocative connotations (books, notebooks, school supplies, clothing items, a bell with “silver sound”, a radio which helped the poet keep in touch with the news, documents, photographs, posters, etc.), the life and creation atmosphere of the poet from Mălini, suggested the essential details of his work and its extraordinary contribution to the evolution of contemporary Romanian poetry.
