Complexul Turistic „Bradul – Călimani”

Hotelul dispune de lift, seif la recepţie, restaurant, sală de conferinţe, bar de zi, terasa, acces direct spre baza de tratament şi agrement (piscină, saună, sală de fitness, solar, masaj). Camerele sunt renovate, dotate cu mobilier nou, telefon, televizor, cablu, frigider cu minibar, baie proprie şi sunt omologate la 3 stele.

            În primăvara anului 1978, s-a pus piatra de temelie unui nou hotel, aşezat în amonte de “Călimani”, care, luând forma constructivă a unui S, se îngemănează cu hotelul anterior construit. Punerea în funcţiune a acestui obiectiv  a avut loc la 28 decembrie 1983 şi a fost numit “Bradul”. Hotel “Bradul” este situat într-o zonă liniştită, lângă parcul staţiunii si dispune de lift, restaurant, seif la recepţie, sală de conferinţe, piscină şi saună. Capacitatea de cazare este de 312 locuri, toate camerele sunt renovate, dotate cu mobilier nou, telefon, televizor, cablu, frigider cu minibar, baie proprie şi sunt omologate la 3 stele.

            La standarde internaţionale se află şi restaurantele situate la parterul fiecărui hotel, bucătăriile fiind echipate cu linii moderne de ultimă generaţie.
Fiecare unitate de alimentaţie publică poate oferi masa pentru un număr de 400 – 500 persoane. Restaurantele sunt pavate în gresie şi marmură, alese cu gust şi colorit care linişteşte sufletul venit la odihnă, îmbiindu-l la degustarea bucatelor pregătite tradiţional şi internaţional de maeştrii în arta culinară.

            Cele două unităţi hoteliere au fost încorporate începând din anul 1991 Societăţii Comerciale  DORNA TURISM SA., societate reprezentativă a turismului din zona Bucovina prin preluarea patrimoniului şi a obiectului de activitate al Intreprinderii Balneo-Climaterică Vatra Dornei.

Societatea a parcurs în ultimii  ani o perioadă de transformări majore, începând de la forma de proprietate asupra acţiunilor societăţii şi continuând la nivelele de management, de gestionare a resurselor, de întreţinere şi modernizare permanentă a bazei materiale, toate acestea având ca scop doua ţinte : atragerea şi satisfacerea într-o măsură sporită a turiştilor; eficientizarea pe termen mediu şi chiar lung a activităţii specifice de prestaţii turistice.

Cea mai mare realizare în plan investiţional o reprezintă noua baza de tratament şi agrement, pusă în funcţiune în primăvara anului 2006, şi care este cea mai modernă din ţară. Investiţia a vizat atât extinderea şi modernizarea bazei de tratament din complexul hotelier cât şi înlocuirea în totalitate a aparaturii medicale şi achiziţionarea în plus a unor aparate ultraperformante, care conferă posibilitatea realizării de explorări funcţionale.
            Indicaţiile terapeutice sunt următoarele:

Profilaxie: persoane sănătoase şi aparent sănătoase cu factori predispozanţi pentru îmholnăvire, persoane cu surmenaj fizic şi intelectual, cu fond nervos hiperactiv, cu sedentarism, noxe, etc.

Afecţiuni ale aparatului cardiovascular: boală cardiacă ischemică şi infarctul miocardic sechelar necomplicat, boli vasculare simple, hipertensiune arterială, ateroscleroză, boli ale arterelor periferice şi ale venelor.

Afecţiuni ale aparatelor locomotorii: artroze si spondiloze, reumatism inflamator stabilizat, reumatism ab-articular; afecţiuni post traumatice, post protezare;

Afecţiuni neurologice: pareze, paralizii, nevrite, nevralgii, etc., hernie de disc şi lombosciatică secundară.

Afecţiuni asociate: boli ale aparatului respirator (bronşite cronice, astmul bronşic, boli profesionale, ale aparatului digestiv, boli ginecologice (sterilitate şi afecţiuni inflamatorii), nevroze, anemii, diabet si obezitate.

            Aceste afecţiuni beneficiază de cură externă şi în principal sub formă de băi carbogazoase, băi de plante medicinale, duşuri la care se adauga termoterapia (împachetări cu nămol şi parafină), electroterapia şi fototerapia, pulmoterapia (aerosoli cu apa sulfuroasă şi medicamente). Un capitol important îl reprezintă kinetoterapia la sala sau bazinul kineto, masajul, cura de teren, mofetele.

            În functie de afecţiunile prezente, aceşti factori de tratament naturali şi artificiali se combină de către personalul medical sub forma unui plan de cură la care se adaugă dietoterapia, reflexoterapia şi altele.

            Aşadar, oferta de servicii a noii baze de tratament se adresează unui segment mai larg de turişti, atât a celor veniţi la tratament, cât şi celor veniţi pentru odihnă, relaxare, sportivi, neexistând nici un alt produs de acest gen în zonă.

  Tourist Complex "Bradul – Călimani"

  "Călimani" Hotel is located inside the spa park, downstream the ski slope; ittakes its name from the “Călimani Mountains”, whose foot is the source of the streams which form the river Dorna and which have crossed this valley for centuries The construction works of this hotel, the treatment facilities and the splendid adjacent restaurant started on May 15,   1975 and its opening took place in the summer of 1977.

  Currently the hotel changed its aspect, the reception was painted in warm, hospitable colors, it was paved with colored marble that relaxes people who come for treatment. The hotel has 292 accommodation places distributed in 4 suits (living room and bedroom), 21 with matrimonial beds and 121 rooms with 2 beds.

  It is also equipped with lift, safe at the reception, restaurant, conference room, bar, terrace and direct access to the treatment and leisure area (swimming pool, sauna, fitness, solarium, massage). All rooms are refurbished, equipped with new furniture, telephone, TV, cable, fridge with mini bar and private bathroom and are rated with 3 stars.

  In the spring of 1978 it was laid the foundation of a new hotel, located upstream of "Călimani", hotel which, by taking the shape of an “S”, twines with the previously built hotel.

  The Hotel was put into operation on December 28, 1983 and it was named "Bradul” (english – “The Fir-Tree).

  “Bradul” Hotel is situated in an peaceful area, near the spa park and is it equipped with lift, restaurant, safe at the reception, conference room, swimming pool and sauna. The hotel has a 312 accommodation places, all the rooms are renovated, equipped with new furniture, telephone, TV, cable, fridge with mini bar and private bathroom and are rated with 3 stars.

  The restaurants situated on the ground floor of each hotel are at international standards, the kitchens are equipped with latest generation appliances.

  Each restaurant can provide food to 400-500 people. Restaurants are decorated with grit stone and marble that will relax people who have come to reat, the atmosphere will tempt clients to taste the food that is traditionally or internationally prepared by chefs highly skilled in the art of cooking.

  Since 1991 the two hotels were attached to SC DORNA TOURISM SA, representative tourism company in Bukovina, who took overthe assets and activities of Vatra Dornei Spa.

  In the recent years, the company went through a period of major changes, from ownership of company shares to management levels, resource management, maintenance and continuous upgrading of materials, all these aimed at two goals: to attract and to satisfy many tourists, to improve on the long

  term the specific activity of tourism facilities.

  The new therapy and leisure facility, the most modern in the country which was put into operation in the spring of 2006, is the greatest achievement on the investment plan. The investment aimed not only to extend and modernize the therapy facility of the hotel but also to fully replace the medical equipment and to purchase high-performance devices, which can give the possibility to achieve functional investigations.

  The therapeutic fields are:

  Prophylaxis: healthy and apparently healthy people at risk to get sick, people with physical and intellectual overworking, with a hyperactive nervous system, people exposed toinactivity, emissions etc.

  Cardiovascular disorders: ischemic heart disease and uncomplicated sequel heart failure, simple vascular diseases, high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, diseases of peripheral arteriae and venae.

  Disorders of locomotor system: arthritis and spondylitis, stabilized inflammatory rheumatism, rheumatic fever, post traumatic disorders, post prosthetics;

  Neurological disorders: paresis, paralysis, neuritis, headaches, etc, herniated disc and secondary lombar sciatica.

  Associated disorders: respiratory diseases (chronic bronchitis, asthma, occupational and digestive diseases, gynaecological (infertility and inflammatory) diseases, neurosis, anaemia, diabetes and obesity.

  Those disorders are provided with external treatment, mainly in the form of carbonated baths, herbal baths, showers plus thermotherapy (wraps in mud and paraffin), electrotherapy and phototherapy, pulmonary therapy (aerosols with sulphur water and medicines). An important part is the kinetic physiotherapy at the gym or kineto pool, massage, field treatment, mofettes.

  Depending on the disorders, these factors of natural and artificial treatment are combined as with diet therapy, reflexology and others by the thmedical stuff.

  So the services provided by the new treatment facilities address a broad segment of tourists, both those coming to treatment and those coming for rest, leisure, sports, and there are no other facilities of this kind in the area.
