Muzeul lingurilor de lemn

Lingurile sunt autentice, adică linguri care au fost folosite, iar altele sunt numai decorative. Interesul iniţial al prof. Ion Ţugui s-a transformat în pasiune şi a căutat neobosit, pretutindeni, acest modest obiect care îmbină însă atât de armonios utilul cu frumosul, a străbătut munţi şi văi, dealuri şi câmpii, de-a lungul şi de-a latul ţării, colecţionând linguri de lemn de pe întreg cuprinsul românesc. Socotind că un astfel de obiect casnic nu poate lipsi nici altor popoare s-a străduit  să cuprindă în colectia sa şi exemplare din alte colţuri ale lumii.          

Varietatea acestor obiecte, după locul unde au fost lucrate, soiurile de lemn folosite, cioplitura, motivele, ornamentaţia ca şi diversitatea întrebuinţării lor, a trezit interesul şi convingerea că se află în faţa unor manifestări artistice care merită să fie relevate.

 Adunând cu interes şi emoţie, de pretutindeni, unde a găsit acest neînsemnat, în aparenţă, obiect casnic, s-a aflat în posesia unor piese de o rară diversitate, care, pe baza unor anumite criteri au fost selecţionate şi clasificate.

 Colecţia de linguri din oraşul Câmpulung Moldovenesc, judeţul Suceava, cuprinde:

$11.     Unelte cu ajutorul cărora  se execută linguri de lemn;

$12.     Lingura de lemn în principalele sale faze de lucru (fazele de execuţie);

$13.     Alte faze şi procedee de lucru ale lingurii de lemn;

$14.     Linguri dupa esenţa sau varietatea lemnului:

1a.     Linguri de diferite varietăţi sau soiuri de lemn din ţara noastră;

1b.    Linguri din diferiţi arbori exotici, cultivaţi, la noi în ţară, ca plante forestiere şi de ornament;

1c.     Linguri confecţionate, la noi în ţară, din diferite esenţe lemnoase primite direct din străinătate.

$15.     Linguri de lemn cu diferite motive decorative sau motive ornamentale:

1a.     Linguri cu motive geometrice;

1b.    Linguri cu motive ornamentale din lumea astral (soarele, luna si stelele);

1c.     Linguri cu motive vegetale (florale) natural sşi stilizate;

1d.    Linguri cu motive din viaţa animalieră;

1e.     Linguri cu motive etnografe (linguri cu chipuri şi capete de oameni – linguri antropomorfe);

1f.     Linguri cu diferite steme (embleme – blazoane) şi figuri istorice;

1g.    Linguri cu alte forme şi elemente decorative.

$16.     Linguri întrebuinţate la diferite obieceiuri tradiţionale şi evenimente din viaţa oamenilor;

$17.     Linguri care amintesc rare şi deosebite evenimente, importante localităţi şi arbori seculari şi istorici;

$18.     Linguri curiozităţi (linguri cu clopoţei, linguri calicilot s.a.);

$19.     Linguri după zona geografică şi după numele unor meşteri amatori şi de profesie;

$110.  Linguri primite de la fostele case pioniereşti, actualele Cluburi şi Palate a copiilor;

$111.  Linguri de la diferite naţionalităţi;

$112.  Linguri din alte ţări;

$113.  Linguri cu furculiţă sau cu cuţit într-un singur corp şi furculiţe;

$114.  Linguroaie şi polonice pentru stâne şi gospodării.

Aceste modeste obiecte, lingurile de lemn, sunt opera unor oameni talentaţi care au învăţat să lucreze la marea şcoală a tradiţiei şi a bunului simţ, a dragostei de frumos şi de respect pentru ce este vechi – pentru înaintaşii lor – care le-au transmis meşteşugul. Ei s-au silit să dea lemnului înfăţişarea artistică şi în multitudinea formelor şi motivelor ornamentale care împodobesc lingurile de lemn.

Elementele decorative, remarcabile prin frumuseţea şi originalitatea lor, într-o armonioasă sinteză cu motivele crestate şi încrustate pe lingurile de lemn, exprimă concepţii interesante ale creatorului artistic despre viaţă, lume, realitatea în care trăieşte.

Vizitatorii, prin cuvintele lor de caldă apreciere şi admiraţie au constituit un imbold continuu în munca de colecţionar a regretatului prof. Ion Ţugui.

Colecţia este deschisă permanent şi oricând vizitatorilor.

Wooden Spoon Museum

 

In Țara de Sus (Highland) of Moldavia, where legend is intertwined with history, in Câmpulung Moldovenesc, the town situated at the foot of the mountain peaks called Lady’s Rocks, under the Giumalău and Rarău mountains, where the sounds of the shepherd’s oat , the bagpipe and the alpenhorn blend with the humming of the fir trees, a collection of wooden spoons gathered from the country and from other sides of the world by professor Ioan Ţugui in his house blossomed in 1945. The Spoons according to their size are ranked as small and large (ladles and large spoons) and according to their use, these are household spoons (housework) and shepherd spoons (for shepherd).

The Spoons are authentic, namely spoons that were used, and others are only decorative. The initial interest of professor Ion Ţugui turned into passion and he sought tirelessly everywhere for this modest object that blends harmoniously the usefulness with the beauty; he got through mountains and valleys, hills and plains, along and across country in order to collect wooden spoons from the whole Romania. Considering that such a household object cannot be absent from any other nations, he also tried to include in his collection specimens from other sides of the world. The variety of these items according to the place where they were made, the varieties of wood used, the carving, the motifs, their usability and diversity of ornamentation aroused a lot of interest and the belief that you are in front of artistic events that deserve to be highlighted. Collecting with interest and excitement this apparently insignificant household item, he found pieces of a rare variety that, based on certain criteria, were selected and classified.

The Spoon Collection from Câmpulung Moldovenesc , Suceava county, includes:

1. Tools to make wooden spoons;

2. Wooden spoons in their main work phases (phases of execution);

3. Other stages and processing operations of the wooden spoon;

4. Spoons according to essence or wood variety;

a. Spoons of a different variety or wood varieties in our country;

b. Spoons made of various exotic trees grown in our country as forest and ornamental plants

c. Spoons made ​​in our country, from different wood essences received directly from abroad.

5. Wooden spoons with different traceries’:

a. Spoons with geometric motifs;

b. Spoons with ornamental motifs from cosmic world (the sun, moon and stars);

c. Spoons with vegetable (floral motifs) natural and stylized motifs;

d. Spoons with motifs from animal life;

e. Spoons with ethnographic motifs (spoons with faces and heads of people – anthropomorphic spoons)

f. Spoons with different flags (emblems – coat of arms) and historical figures;

g. Spoons with other decorative forms and elements.

6. Spoons which are used in various traditions and events in people's lives;

7. Spoons which tell of rare and unusual events, important places and trees;

8. Curiosity spoons (spoons with bells, calicilot spoons etc);

9. Spoons according to geographical area and to the name of amateur and professional craftsmen;

10. Spoons received from former communist youth clubs, the present clubs and children’ places;

11. Spoons of different nationalities;

12. Spoons from other countries;

13. Spoons with fork or knife in one piece and forks;

14. Large spoons and ladles for sheepfolds and households.

The decorative elements, remarkable by their beauty and originality, in a harmonious synthesis with chopped and inlaid motifs on wooden spoons, express interesting conceptions of the artistic creator about life, the world, the reality in which he lives.

The visitors by their warm words of appreciation and admiration gave a continuous impulse for the collector work of the late professor Ion Ţugui.

The collection is permanent and open to visitors.
